David J. Doyle is an accomplished entrepreneur with more than 15 years
of real estate development experience coupled with vast knowledge in
multifamily property management, marketing and the building of equity brands.
In late 2009, Mr. Doyle co-founded Luxe List Home - an online residential resource
dedicated to connecting luxury rental customers with the finest apartments
nationwide. As president and CEO of Luxe, he oversees the day-to-day
operations of the company, which includes creating and implementing the
firm's business strategy and directing the sales and marketing team. He is the
creator of the unique, patent pending scoring system, deployed by Luxe List
Home, and currently leads the on-going research team.
Prior to launching Luxe, Mr. Doyle was the vice president of marketing for
Aimco -- one of the nation's largest owner and operators of multifamily
communities with a vast portfolio including 1,123 communities, more than
200,000 units and approximately 750,000 residents. Prior to Aimco, he served as
the director of marketing for Casden Properties, LLC, a Beverly Hills-based
developer and operator of more than 20,000 units nationwide. At Casden, he
participated in the nearly $1 billion acquisition of Casden Properties by Aimco.
During his successful real estate career, Mr. Doyle has completed the
development and redevelopment of over 30 communities, more than 10,000
units and raised approximately $200 million in equity. He was a founding
member of the Aimco Brand Strategy Group and led the company's brand
blueprint. He oversaw the in-depth resident and potential resident research in
order to identify customer segments and determine their purchase drivers. He
developed synergies with potential investors for both acquisitions and dispositions
and played a critical role in the JP Morgan decision to enter into a $700 million
joint venture with the Palazzo properties in Los Angeles.
Mr. Doyle's innovation and trend-setting approach to real estate
positioning is based upon a comprehensive understanding of consumer
behavior, particularly in the luxury market. His leadership has been recognized in
several publications including The Apartment Professional, Los Angeles
Magazine, LA Weekly, 944 Magazine and Haute Living. His marketing and design
leadership resulted in over 12 national awards of excellence including the
Summit Creative Awards, Hermes Creative Awards, Davey Awards and the
Communicator Awards. He received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from
Pepperdine University and is a licensed real estate broker.
